2019 Polynesian Bowl Selections – Chris Sailer Kicking

Chris Sailer Kicking is proud to be an official partner of the Polynesian All-American Bowl. We are very proud of our tremendous success in Hawaii over the past decade which has lead to this amazing opportunity. Ka’imi Fairbairn got a full ride scholarship to UCLA where he enjoyed a great 4 years culminating with winning the Lou Groza Award given to the nation’s top place kicker. He signed with the Houston Texans in the NFL and is now their starting kicker. Jet Toner (Stanford) and Adam Stack (Oregon) are current starters in the PAC-12 and have done great things for their respective programs as well. Many others are playing collegiate football across America. Chris Sailer Kicking runs camps in Hawaii each year and will now have a great presence at the Polynesian Bowl as well.

Over 80 Kickers and Punters competed in hopes of being selected to play in the Polynesian Bowl. Here are the results.

Polynesian Bowl Selections (Class of 2019)

Tim Horn (HI) – The #2 ranked kicker in the nation was absolutely dominant. He hits a pure ball on field goal and has 60+ yard range. The University of Washington commit also has one of the biggest legs in the America on kickoff. He averages 70+ yards with 4.0+ hang time. Tim is an outstanding athlete and competitor that should have a major impact on the Bowl Game.

Austin McNamara (AZ) – The #2 ranked punter in the nation is as talented as they come. He has the athletic frame of a prototypical NFL punter. He reminds me a lot of current Tampa Bay Buccaneers Punter Bryan Anger who is also a longtime Chris Sailer Kicking student. Austin easily averages 40+ yards with 4.5+ hang time. He also shows the ability to hit 50+ yard punts with 5.0+ hang time.

Evan Davis (NC) – The #8 ranked kicker in the nation and talented punter is impressive in all areas of his game. The Toledo commit hits a big time ball on field goal and drives the ball deep on kickoffs. He is also an excellent punter that can be used in many different varieties in the punting game. Evan is one of the best competitors out there that is going to be an outstanding D1 player.

Austin McNamara, Sailer, Tim Horn & Evan Davis

The 2019 Polynesian All-American Bowl will take place on January 19, 2019 at Aloha Stadium in HI. The game will air on CBS Sports Network.

2018 Chris Sailer Kicking Summer Opportunities

The 2018 Chris Sailer Kicking Spring Tour was an incredible success culminating with a tremendous Vegas XXXII Event.  Now that the dust is beginning to settle, the question is… what next?  Chris Sailer Kicking has a huge 2018 Summer Schedule planned.  Here is my advice!

Class of 2019 & Junior College Prospects
June: Attend 3-5 college camps.  These are camps put on by the Universities themselves and are essentially tryouts.  I cannot stress enough, go to camps that fit your athletic and academic skill set.  DO NOT overdo it and attend too many of these camps.  Avoid poor performances do to fatigue and worse yet injuries.

Late June, July & August: Attend the following camps…
June 28 – Los Angeles, CA 1-Day Camp
June 30 – Charlotte, NC 1-Day Camp
July 1 – Atlanta, GA 1-Day Camp
July 9 – Chicago, IL 1-Day Camp
July 22 – Dallas, TX 1-Day Camp
August 5 – Honolulu, HI 1-Day Camp

*Attend 2 of these camps.  1) Attend the camp in your region. 2) Attend a camp outside of your region.  Compete with others outside of your comfort zone and take the time to visit colleges in that area.  Get experience traveling and getting to know another part of the country.  This will go a long way in helping you making your college choice when that times comes.  As a rising senior or junior college prospect this will greatly benefit you.

July 11-12 – TOP GUN in Rock Hill, SC.  This is your chance to try out to become a U.S. Army All-American or a Polynesian Bowl All-American.  At this camp, I will be selecting 2 Kickers and 2 Punters for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl (The largest and most prestigious All-American Game in the world).  I will also be selecting 2 K/P’s for the Polynesian Bowl (The fastest rising All-American Game to be played in Hawaii).  Chris Sailer Kicking rankings WILL be adjusted from the results of this camp.

TO REGISTER CALL: 973-366-5027

July 16-18 – TOP 12 (Invite Only Camp) in Los Angeles, CA.  If you have been invited to this camp, this is a no-brainer.  You are part of the most exclusive specialist club in the world!

So…. your recommended plan is: 3-5 College Camps, TWO 1-Day CSK Regional Camp & TOP GUN!

Classes of 2020 & 2021 Prospects

June: Attend 1 (max 2) College Camps.  These camps are 99% intended to scout and evaluate the Class of 2019.  You are going simply for experience.  Unless you are a 5-Star, Top 5 nationally ranked CSK prospect, I would highly recommend waiting for these camps until you are a rising senior.  I recommend going to 1 college camp simply to get experience.  Focus your energy and resources on camps that will help get you prepared.

Late June, July & August: Attend the following camps…
June 28 – Los Angeles, CA 1-Day Camp
June 30 – Charlotte, NC 1-Day Camp
July 1 – Atlanta, GA 1-Day Camp
July 9 – Chicago, IL 1-Day Camp
July 22 – Dallas, TX 1-Day Camp
August 5 – Honolulu, HI 1-Day Camp

*Attend the camp in your region. Possible consider attending an additional regional camp outside of your area to compete with others outside of your comfort zone and take the time to visit colleges in that area. Get experience traveling and getting to know another part of the country.

July 19-20 – The 2018 Underclassmen Invitational in Los Angeles, CA.  This is best camp that you will ever attend during your time in High School.  This camp is as much for the parents as it is for the players.  If you get invited to this camp, this is the CAN’T MISS camp of the summer.  Instruction, competition, rankings, seminars, friendships and fun.  Get ready for greatness!

So…. your recommended plan is: 1 (max 2) College Camps, ONE 1-Day CSK Regional Camp (possible 2) & the 2018 Underclassmen Invitational.

Classes of 2022 & 2023 Prospects

June: Private and Group Training with Chris Sailer Kicking Staff Members.  DO NOT attend College Camps. These are not beneficial for you at this time.  Focus on getting better to prepare for the future.

Late June, July & August: Attend the following camps…
June 28 – Los Angeles, CA 1-Day Camp
June 30 – Charlotte, NC 1-Day Camp
July 1 – Atlanta, GA 1-Day Camp
July 9 – Chicago, IL 1-Day Camp
July 22 – Dallas, TX 1-Day Camp
August 5 – Honolulu, HI 1-Day Camp

*Attend the camp in your region.

July 11-12 – TOP GUN in Rock Hill, SC. This is your chance to become an Adidas Freshman All-American (Class of 2022).  I will be selecting 2 K/P’s to participate in this incredible game at TOP GUN.  If you are in the Class of 2022 this is a can’t miss.  For all other youth players (2023 and younger): we feature a youth division at this camp which is unique to any other camp that we run.  This is an incredible opportunity to improve your skills and have fun with others your age.

TO REGISTER CALL: 973-366-5027

July 19-20 – The 2018 Underclassmen Invitational in Los Angeles, CA. This is best camp that you will ever attend during your time in High School. This camp is as much for the parents as it is for the players. If you get invited to this camp, this is the CAN’T MISS camp of the summer. Instruction, competition, rankings, seminars, friendships and fun. Get ready for greatness!

So…. your recommended plan is: private and group training, ONE 1-Day CSK Regional Camp, TOP GUN & The 2018 Underclassmen Invitational.

Overall Camp ChampionNoah Rauschenberg (2019, OK)
Noah stepped up with a dominating performance in Dallas. The Chris Sailer Kicking veteran was on fire in all areas of his game from start to finish. On this day he won 2 of the 4 major competitions. He went 6-6 on field goal with a long of 60 yards to win the first field goal competition. He won the kickoff competition by averaging over 70 yards with 3.8+ hang time. His best ball measured 82 yards with 3.9 hang time (wind aided). He was also a punt finalist. Noah didn’t miss a kick in the finals round proving to all that he is a major D1 prospect.

Field Goal ChampionReed Kieny (2020, TX)
Reed had his best camp yet with Chris Sailer Kicking. He continues to get stronger and stronger and is growing in confidence with each camp he attends. He won the second major field goal competition by hitting 6 consecutive field goals with a long of 57 yards. Reed also impressed on kickoffs. He is on his way to a bright college future with continued hard work. Look for Reed to compete with the best in his class the next few years.

Punt ChampionNick Hill (2020, CA)
Nick is a talented combo (K/P) prospect. He is a great looking athlete with a live leg. He focused on punting at this particular camp and it paid off. He averaged near 40 yards with 4.0+ hang time. Nick also showed the ability to hit 45+ yard punts with 4.4+ hang time. He won the major punting competition by staying consistent and outlasting a talented field. The recent USC commit was stellar once again. Coming off a huge 2018 fall with Chris Sailer Kicking, he was dominant again in Dallas. He excels most on kickoffs where he averages 70+ yards with 4.0+ hang time. He also has the tools to compete at the next level on field goal. Alex is a hard work with a great head on his shoulders with a bright college future.

Top NewcomerJoseph McFadden (2021, TX)
Joseph stood out immediately. He has a huge leg for his age and was competing with rising seniors with ease. He already hits a college level ball on field goal off the ground.
