Peter Wagner Wins the 2014 CSK TX Summer Camp!

The Chris Sailer Kicking Summer Tour continued with an eventful stop in what is always one of the most talented regions of the country…. Dallas, TX.  Once again, well over 100 athletes from TX and over a dozen surrounding states attended this popular one day event.  Chris Sailer Kicking and Rubio Long Snapping will train and evaluate over 1,700 athletes this summer.  Training, Exposure, Scholarship Offers and College Commitments is the name of the game.  Take a look at who made a name for themselves.

Overall Camp Champion – Peter Wagner (2015, TN)
Peter is as solid as they come.  The long time Chris Sailer Kicking student proved himself from start to finish on field goals.  He nailed well over 80% of his kicks and hit from as far as 53 yards on this day.  Peter continues to prove that he will be a success at the college level.

Other Competition Champions – Field Goal: Adam LaManque (2015, OK), Kickoff: Victor Falcon (2015, TX) & Punt: Tony Pecora (2015, TX).  Adam, Victor and Tony all show tremendous ability.  All 3 have the skills to play in college.  Adam excels on field goals.  Victor has one of the strongest legs in the nation and shows D1 potential.  Tony has as much overall potential as anyone in the nation.

2015 Prospects: Alex Prince, Alex Webb, Austin Barnes, Charlie Herold, Chris Berumen, Dan Donley, Eathan Rainey, Kian Richard, Lucas Rizzotto, Omar Shalabi, Rolando Navarro, Chase Ellerbee, Sam Jimenez.

Top 2016 Future Stars – Braden Mann: Braden is a Top 10 national prospect as both a kicker and punter.  He is a great athlete that will play at the D1 level without a doubt.  Look for Braden to challenge for a “TOP 12” spot at Vegas XXV in January.  Cole Cormier: Cole is a very consistent performer that shows tremendous promise.  He made over 85% of his kicks and hit from beyond 50 yards several times.  He is also solid on kickoffs.  Luke Hogan: Luke is proving that he might just be the top prospect in Texas.  He has a huge leg and excels on both field goals and kickoffs.  If Luke continues to excel at this rate, D1 football is in his future.

Other 2016 Prospects: Alvin Kenworthy, Ausin Henning, Landen Saling, Marco Navarro, Tim Skapek, Trenton Fudge, Zach Bryant.

2017 Future Stars: Geoffrey Pace, Nick Horiates, Ryan Harwell, Erik Carrasco.

Chris Sailer Kicking “Event Elite” Punter Alex Kinney Commits to Colorado!

Chris Sailer Kicking “Event Elite” Punter / Kicker Alex Kinney has officially committed to the University of Colorado.  The #3 Punter in the nation & #22 Kicker in the nation made his decision last night.  The offer and commitment is well deserved!  The University of Colorado is getting one of very best, if not the best.

We met Alex in January at the 12th Annual National Kicking Event in Las Vegas.  He did a great job and landed in the Top 25 both as a punter and kicker.  He showed huge potential.  He then came back to Las Vegas in May for the 12th Annual National Spring Event where he absolutely exploded on the scene.  He kicked very well, but punting is where he really excelled.  He won the Class of 2015 Punt Competition and landed at #3 in the nation.  He also made “Event Elite” and was invited to the “TOP 12” and “Event Elite” camp in June where the best of the best gather and compete.

Alex had another great performance at the “TOP 12” and “Event Elite” Camp.  The 40 best specialists in the world gathered in Los Angeles to compete.  Kinney once again came out on top of the punting competition, beating the likes of Tommy Townsend (Tennessee commit), Blake Johnson (Duke, Oregon State & Colorado offers), & Corey Fatony (Missouri commit) to name a few.  Once the news got out,  it was no surprise that Colorado came in with the offer.

Alex is a special athlete.  Look for him to have an outstanding career at Colorado in the Pac-12.  A bright future awaits.
