3 More Late Commitments for CSK

As always kickers and punters pick up late scholarships.  Here are 3 more Chris Sailer Kicking commitments.

Connor Derby – Central Washington
A top national kicker, Connor will head to Central Washington to become the starting kicker and punter.  Due to academics and eligibility the 5 star kicker couldn’t sign a D1A scholarship.  This is a great fit for him!

Tyler Sarrazin – Southern Miss
A top combo prospect, Tyler fills many needs for Southern Miss.  Spoke with the Special Teams Coordinator and Tyler was the perfect fit for what they needed.  He should be a very productive player for them over the years.

Colby Wadman – UC Davis
The “Event Elite” Punter steps into a perfect situation at UC Davis.  CSK has been sending players to Davis for years now.  They really take care of their players and offer a tremendous education.  I am happy for Colby.

More to come…. who is next?

So You Didn’t Make The “TOP 12″….What Now?

For the past 2 weeks, you have been watching the TOP 12 Kickers / Punters get chosen one by one.  Each time a selection was made, one person was ecstatic while countless others felt the opposite emotions. When the final TOP 12er was chosen and a balloon was popped for many 2014, 2015 and even some 2016 Kickers / Punters. Now what?

Couple ways to look at it….

You can be upset with me for not selecting you. You can be upset with yourself for not performing when it counted. You can even find a way to blame others, but, it is ultimately on you. The only thing you can control is how hard and smart you work. Everyone in Vegas is competing for the same spots. Don’t let anybody outwork you and you will see different results.

You need to use this as motivation to make sure you perform better. This is all up to you. The choice is yours.

If you are a Kicker / Punter that strives to be the best, you want to be at that “TOP 12” camp this summer. Any single athlete that has been there (scholarship Kickers / Punters, All-Americans, NFL players) will tell you it is, by far, the best camp they have ever been to in their life. What you need to do is get back on the horse. Work smarter and harder. Your opportunity is waiting for you in May at the Spring Event in Las Vegas.

At the Spring Event, I choose the “EVENT ELITE”. The “EVENT ELITE” is the best of the best from Vegas in May. They join the “TOP 12” to form the “TOP 12” and “EVENT ELITE” Invite Only Camp on June 21-23, 2013 in Los Angeles. There is no set number for the “EVENT ELITE”. I could choose one K/P or I can choose 30. It all depends on the talent. I don’t choose just to choose. It would make me look ignorant in the end. If I say you belong at that camp, you are one of the best in the world. This is a true invite only camp. I do NOT just hand out invites to get people to come to it. That would give me no credibility. I choose the best because they are the best. They will represent the “TOP 12”, “ EVENT ELITE” and Chris Sailer Kicking the best in the future.

Are you one of them? Time to decide. Prove to me, and the rest of the world, that you belong.

Or don’t.

THE CHOICE IS YOURS…..

Chris Sailer Kicking Punter Nicholas O’Toole commits to West Virginia

The exposure that Chris Sailer Kicking gives to its players has never been more evident in the recent success story of Fullerton JC Punter Nicholas O’Toole.  A virtual unknown on the recruiting scene after his first year at Fullerton Junior College, O’Toole planned on returning to the school for his sophomore season. Those plans changed after the Chris Sailer Kicking National Event last month in Las Vegas.

After an impressive showing at the Event, O’Toole was named to the “Top 12” coming out of the camp and opened many eyes at the D1 level. The 6’4” 215 pound O’Toole possesses the ideal size and strength to thrive at the next level and into the NFL.

Chris Sailer Kicking introduced O’Toole to the staff at West Virginia University and to say they were impressed is an understatement, in fact they were so impressed they offered O’Toole a full scholarship. O’Toole will sign his letter of intent to play for the Mountaineers on National Signing Day February 6th 2013.

This is true example of the power of exposure and relationships in the world of Kicking and Punting and Chris Sailer Kicking has both. O’Toole no doubt has the skills and talent to warrant a D1 Scholarship, but he needed the added exposure and CSK gave it to him. Chris Sailer Kicking couldn’t be more excited and proud of the future that awaits Nicholas O’Toole at West Virginia.

Look for O’Toole to star for the Mountaineers in the coming years.

Chris Sailer Kicking has its First Super Bowl Champion

Chris Sailer Kicking Alum and Baltimore Raven Kicker Justin Tucker is a Super Bowl Champion! Tucker and the Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers in a thrilling and event filled Super Bowl last night in New Orleans. Tucker again was instrumental in the Ravens win connecting on 2 of 2 field goals and adding 4 extra points.

Both of Tucker’s field goals came after the bizarre power outage that delayed the game for over 30 minutes. This is an impressive feat as anything that throws a wrench in the flow of a game can be detrimental to a kicker’s rhythm. Tucker overcame this flawlessly as he drilled both his field goals in the second half. Not to mention the fake field goal attempt in which Tucker came up just short, but took a HUGE hit and got right up!

A product of Westlake High School in Austin, TX. Tucker stayed close to home and attended the University of Texas where starred for the Longhorns.

Tucker has become one of, if not the top kicker in the NFL. The Ravens leaned on him throughout the 2012 playoffs and finally in the Super Bowl!

Congratulations from your extended “kicking” family at Chris Sailer Kicking, we couldn’t be more proud of your success this year!

The Value of 1 on 1 Coaching

While practicing with the team is a great way to improve a player’s overall football abilities and helps create a solid base of teamwork, there are certain skills that are hard to master when working in a team situation. Some of the most notable examples of this are kicking and punting. In a normal practice situation, the Kicker does not get the opportunity to utilize these skills as often as is necessary to develop them to their fullest. Additionally, many great football coaches do not have the knowledge necessary to bring out the best in a Kicker or Punter. Because of this, finding 1 on 1 coaching for kicking and punting is essential—to help a player reach his potential.

A professional kicking instructor and kicking camps prove to be the best way to teach this important skill. The best in the business is Chris Sailer Kicking. In addition to providing the coaching necessary to develop the player and bring out the best, Chris Sailer Kicking is THE SOURCE for college recruiting and exposure as well—offering a wellounded package of benefits to up and coming Kickers and Punters of all skill levels.

Stay tuned for updates from our National Events this week in Las Vegas:
