2018 GA Fall Camp Recap – Jude Kelley Comes Up Big!

The road to Vegas XXXIII continued in Atlanta, GA on Sunday December 2nd. This camp featured nearly 200 specialists from over a dozen states. The talent was off the charts as multiple 5-Star Kickers and Punters were in attendance. There is no doubt that several of the athletes in attendance will challenge for a TOP 12 Spot in Las Vegas in January. Take a look at the results…

Overall Camp ChampionJude Kelley (2020, GA)
Jude has had a phenomenal 2018 with Chris Sailer Kicking. On this day he won the field goal competition by going 8-9 with a long of 55 yards. He also averaged 65+ yards on kickoffs with 4.0+ hang time. Jude is a tremendous competitor that does very well under pressure. He is now a 5-Star Kicker and is set to challenge for a TOP 12 Spot in Las Vegas. The future is bright for this talented athlete.

Kickoff ChampionZaden Weber (2019, TN)
Zaden had a fantastic day from start to finish. He dominated kickoffs by averaging nearly 70 yards with 4.0+ hang time. His best ball measured 73 yards, with 4.04 hang time. The long time Chris Sailer Kicking Kicker was also fantastic on field goal. His ball gets up quickly off the ground and he has 55+ yard range. Zaden is now a 5-Star Kicker that should see major attention from D1 coaches. Look for him to dominate Vegas XXXIII and pick up additional offers (currently holds an offer from Murray State).

Punt ChampionSam Johnson (2020, AL)
Sam stood out immediately once the punting session began. He has a powerful leg and a great college level frame. Sam won the punting competitions by averaging 45+ yards, with 4.4+ hang time. His best balls measure 50+ years with 4.7+ hang time. Sam has all the tools to be a dominating D1 Punter. Look for him to compete with the best of the best at Vegas XXXIII and challenge for a coveted TOP 12 Spot.

Albert is an outstanding all around Kicking and Punting prospect. He is big, tall, strong and athletic. He has tremendous leg strength and D1 potential. On this day he won a major punting competition by averaging 40+ yards with 4.4+ hang time. He best ball measured 45 yards with 5.0 hang time. He is a also a talented kicker. He hits a clean ball on field goal and has 55+ yard range. His kickoffs are strong, college ready. Albert is a top national combo prospect without a doubt.

The 2018 Chris Sailer Kicking Summer Camp Tour is now in full stride. The most recent stop was in Atlanta, GA on Sunday July 1st. This region of the country is always loaded with talent. The current #1 Kicker and #1 Punter in the nation in the Class of 2019 come from this regional camp. The future continues to look bright with talented specialists from GA, TN, AL, AR, MS and more. James continues to prove that he is a legitimate D1 scholarship pick. The current #2 Kicker in the nation and #1 Punter in the nation in the Class of 2020 was once again dominant. He won both major field goal competitions with his tremendous accuracy and range. He never missed a kick in competition including several kicks of 50+ yards. James hits a big time D1 ball on both field goal and kickoff. He is also impressive as a Punter. The TOP 12 Camp selection has and will continue to impress college coaches. Look from James to be one of the very first specialists offered a scholarship in his class.

Kickoff ChampionSam Contorno (2019, AL)
Sam was impressive in all areas of his game from start to finish. He won the kickoff competition by averaging 65+ yards with 3.9+ hang time. His best ball measured nearly 70 yards with 4.0 hang time. He was also a major factor in the field goal competitions. He hits a pure ball off the ground and easily has 50+ yard range. Sam also proved that he is a legitimate punting prospect. He is a fine young man that is going to make a great addition to a college football program.

Jack is an excellent punting prospect. He is a great looking athlete with and explosive leg. He won both major punt competitions by averaging 40+ yards with solid hang time. The ball jumps off his foot and he has only scratched the surface of what he is capable of. The lefty has the tools and ability to take his game to any college level with continued hard work. Look for Jack to impress college coaches over the course of the next year and pick up offers.

2018 GA Spring Camp Recap – Jay Bramblett Goes Back-to-Back!

The 2018 Chris Sailer Kicking Spring Camp Tour made its most recent stop in what has become the hotbed for high school kicking and punting talent… Atlanta, GA. The Atlanta regional camps produced the most talent in the Class of 2018 last year and the future looks just as bright. Well over 100 specialists were once again in attendance representing nearly 15 states. Becoming the champion of this camp has become one of the tallest tasks on the Chris Sailer Kicking tour. Jay was absolutely on fire once again from start to finish. The #1 ranked Punter in the nation, TOP 12 Camp Invitee and now back to back GA Camp Champion is a big time D1 prospect. He is an incredibly gifted athlete with an explosive leg. He easily averages 45+ yards with 4.6+ hang time. His best balls measure 50+ yards with 5.0+ hang time. Field Goal ChampionRyan Fitzgerald (2019, GA)
The Chris Sailer Kicking 2017 1st Team All-American Kicker proved once again exactly how he was able to earn that honor. Ryan won BOTH of the major field goal competitions versus stiff competition. Winning one competition would have been difficult, winning two is nearly impossible. Ryan came out on fire in the afternoon during competitions hitting 100% of his kicks including multiple 55+ yarders. Ryan is going to be an outstanding college kicker. OFFER NOW!!!

Kickoff Champion – Miled Mourad (Transfer, FL)
Miled enjoyed great success at his first Chris Sailer Kicking camp. He has a live leg and shows great promise on both field goal and kickoff. On this day he won the kickoff competition by averaging 70+ yards with 3.7+ hang time. His best kick sailed through the uprights with room to spare.

Top NewcomerCory Munson (2019, GA)
Cory is an impressive Class of 2019 prospect. He is a great looking athlete with explosive leg. As a junior in high school this past season he connected on 23 field goals with a long of 59 yards. He proved that he can compete with the best. Cory has 55+ yard range on field goal off the ground. He gets D1 height on his ball and does well under pressure. His kickoffs are also strong and he also shows nice punting potential. Look for Cory to challenge for a TOP 12 spot at Vegas XXXII.

Top Class of 2018 Prospect – Michael Owen (2018, GA)
Michael is a very talented Combo (K/P) Specialist. He shows he can hit a college level ball at times on field goal. His “A” ball is fantastic. His kickoffs average 60+ yards with solid hang time. Punting might end up being his best college position. He shows he can hit a big ball and he has the size and athleticism to develop in this area. Michael is is a pleasure to work with and will make a fine addition to a college football program.
