See you at a Chris Sailer Kicking in 2022!

Vegas XXXIX Explained

In 2003, Chris Sailer Kicking created the first ever National Exposure Camp for Kickers, Punters & Long Snappers.  125 Specialists attended Vegas I, setting the stage for what is universally recognized as THE premier recruiting event for Kickers, Punters & Long Snappers. 30+ D1 coaches attended this event. Since then thousands upon thousands of specialists have traveled to Las Vegas to learn and compete on the biggest stage. The last time college coaches were able to attend, 80+ D1 coaches lined the fields to evaluate. Since the NCAA passed the rule that coaches were no longer able to attend, I continue to work with every college coach in America as they know the level of competition, magnitude of the camp and dominance of the athletes at the next level. Hundreds of athletes have received full ride scholarships and thousands more have earned a spot on a college roster.

Now for the 39th time, Chris Sailer Kicking & Rubio Long Snapping will welcome athletes to Las Vegas on January 15-16, 2022.

Facts about Vegas:

  •      30+ Vegas participants are currently starting in the NFL.
  •      50+ Vegas participants have started an NFL game.
  •      100+ Vegas participants have participated in an NFL training camp.
  •      500+ Vegas participants are on college rosters each and every year.
  •      The TOP 12 is THE exposure list that started it all
  •      The Adidas All-American Bowl on NBC Specialists are selected in Vegas.
  •      Vegas IS NOT an invitational camp. There are great benefits for all grades and skill levels.

Why attend a Vegas Event (By Class):

2020 CA Spring Recap – Ricardo Chavez Wins It!

The 2020 Chris Sailer Kicking Spring Camp Tour is officially underway. Over 1000 athletes will participate in camps in So. Cal, NC, GA, WA, TX, IL, Nor Cal, MA & NV. The road all leads to the most popular specialist camp in the world.. Vegas XXXVI (May 9-10).

The first stop of the tour took place in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday March 1st. Take a look at the results…

Overall Camp Champion – Ricardo Chavez (JC, CA)
Ricardo was impressive from start to finish. The 1st year JC prospect showed great promise as both a Kicker and Punter. He won the Punt competition by averaging 40+ yards, with 4.4+ hang time. Ricardo was smooth and accurate on field goal. His kickoffs are college ready. Look for Ricardo to dominate Vegas XXXVI in May. He has a bright future.

Ricardo Chavez is a Junior College Class of 2021 Prospect.

Field Goal ChampionJosh Bryan (2021, CA)
The #1 Kicker in the nation continues to prove his dominance. The 3-Time TOP 12 Camp Invitee is special. He won the field goal competition by connecting from 35, 40, 45, 48, 51, 56 and 60 yards. His kickoffs are D1 ready. Josh is also a more than capable Punter. Look for Josh to dominate the 2020 off season picking up multiple scholarship offers.

Kickoff Champion – Denis Lynch (2021, CA)
The first time Chris Sailer Kicking student made a fantastic first impression. He has a big time leg and endless potential. Denis won the kickoff competition by consistently putting the ball in the back of the endzone with 3.7+ hang time. The lefty also showed great range on field goal. I look forward to helping this excellent prospect develop his game. Denis should challenge for a TOP 12 Spot at Vegas XXXVI.

Jude Kelley (GA) – Most clutch field goal kicker in America. Connected on 19 field goals this past season including 3 of 50+. He will be a Lou Groza Award Finalist type college kicker.

Chase Allen (TX) – One of the absolute strongest legs in the nation. He has NFL type potential. Big, strong and athletic. Chase has a great head on his shoulders. He just won the KO competition at Vegas XXXV.

Tabor Allen (TX) – Best kickoff leg in America. He drives the ball through the end zone with big hang time. Also a big time competitor that excels on field goals. Amazing young man that is going to be a steal.

Owen Daffer (NC) – Owen has come on strong this year. He had a huge 2019 season. He earned selection to the 2020 Polynesian Bowl by defeating the best in the country. Owen did a phenomenal job in Polynesian Bowl game itself. He is fantastic on both field goal and kickoff. Another steal.

Dante Jackson (CA) – Dante is perhaps the best all around athlete in this class (He and Tommy Christakos, CAL commit). He has a huge leg and dominate on both field goal and kickoff. There is SO much upside here. Dante is an NFL talent. He is going to be tremendous at the college level.

One of the best young men that has worn a CSK shirt. Cameron was recently awarded the Best Representative of Chris Sailer Kicking Award.

Chris Sailer Kicking Featured Instructor – Erik Folk

This is our sixth week of a new series where we feature our amazing instructors. This will allow you learn more about these young men and why they have been chosen to represent CSK nationwide.

Week 6: Chris Sailer Kicking Senior Instructor, Erik Folk!

Erik Folk is a former placekicker. He has been on staff with Chris Sailer Kicking since 2003.

Folk attended Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, CA. He helped them to a 11-1 record and a Serra League championship as a senior in 2006. Folk’s team finished as the No. 6 team in the state, according to MaxPreps. He was named second-team all-area kicker, CalHiSports all-state third team, PrepStar all-region selection, booted 53-of-53 PATS and seven field goals as a senior, kicked a 56-yarder in 2006. He also kicked a 50-yarder in the 2055 season and was ranked No. 1 in state.

After high school, Folk played for the University of Washington. He is most remembered for kicking game-winning field goals to beat USC in 2009 and 2010. During the 2009 season, it was Folk’s 22-yarder with three seconds to play that made the difference in a 16-13 upset win over No. 3 USC.

Folk repeated his last-second heroics against No. 18 USC the following year, hitting a 32-yard game-winning field goal. He was named Pac-10 Special Teams player of the week on October 4, 2010.

After college, Folk was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Atlanta Falcons, but was released before the regular season.

Folk currently lives in Los Angeles, CA. He works the California camps and Las Vegas National Events with Chris Sailer giving valuable instruction.

He offers private and group lessons throughout the year for aspiring kickers and punters in Southern California.

For lessons and instruction with Erik, please contact him (818) 585-9907.
