2018 Chris Sailer Kicking Summer Opportunities

The 2018 Chris Sailer Kicking Spring Tour was an incredible success culminating with a tremendous Vegas XXXII Event.  Now that the dust is beginning to settle, the question is… what next?  Chris Sailer Kicking has a huge 2018 Summer Schedule planned.  Here is my advice!

Class of 2019 & Junior College Prospects
June: Attend 3-5 college camps.  These are camps put on by the Universities themselves and are essentially tryouts.  I cannot stress enough, go to camps that fit your athletic and academic skill set.  DO NOT overdo it and attend too many of these camps.  Avoid poor performances do to fatigue and worse yet injuries.

Late June, July & August: Attend the following camps…
June 28 – Los Angeles, CA 1-Day Camp
June 30 – Charlotte, NC 1-Day Camp
July 1 – Atlanta, GA 1-Day Camp
July 9 – Chicago, IL 1-Day Camp
July 22 – Dallas, TX 1-Day Camp
August 5 – Honolulu, HI 1-Day Camp

*Attend 2 of these camps.  1) Attend the camp in your region. 2) Attend a camp outside of your region.  Compete with others outside of your comfort zone and take the time to visit colleges in that area.  Get experience traveling and getting to know another part of the country.  This will go a long way in helping you making your college choice when that times comes.  As a rising senior or junior college prospect this will greatly benefit you.

July 11-12 – TOP GUN in Rock Hill, SC.  This is your chance to try out to become a U.S. Army All-American or a Polynesian Bowl All-American.  At this camp, I will be selecting 2 Kickers and 2 Punters for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl (The largest and most prestigious All-American Game in the world).  I will also be selecting 2 K/P’s for the Polynesian Bowl (The fastest rising All-American Game to be played in Hawaii).  Chris Sailer Kicking rankings WILL be adjusted from the results of this camp.

TO REGISTER CALL: 973-366-5027

July 16-18 – TOP 12 (Invite Only Camp) in Los Angeles, CA.  If you have been invited to this camp, this is a no-brainer.  You are part of the most exclusive specialist club in the world!

So…. your recommended plan is: 3-5 College Camps, TWO 1-Day CSK Regional Camp & TOP GUN!

Classes of 2020 & 2021 Prospects

June: Attend 1 (max 2) College Camps.  These camps are 99% intended to scout and evaluate the Class of 2019.  You are going simply for experience.  Unless you are a 5-Star, Top 5 nationally ranked CSK prospect, I would highly recommend waiting for these camps until you are a rising senior.  I recommend going to 1 college camp simply to get experience.  Focus your energy and resources on camps that will help get you prepared.

Late June, July & August: Attend the following camps…
June 28 – Los Angeles, CA 1-Day Camp
June 30 – Charlotte, NC 1-Day Camp
July 1 – Atlanta, GA 1-Day Camp
July 9 – Chicago, IL 1-Day Camp
July 22 – Dallas, TX 1-Day Camp
August 5 – Honolulu, HI 1-Day Camp

*Attend the camp in your region. Possible consider attending an additional regional camp outside of your area to compete with others outside of your comfort zone and take the time to visit colleges in that area. Get experience traveling and getting to know another part of the country.

July 19-20 – The 2018 Underclassmen Invitational in Los Angeles, CA.  This is best camp that you will ever attend during your time in High School.  This camp is as much for the parents as it is for the players.  If you get invited to this camp, this is the CAN’T MISS camp of the summer.  Instruction, competition, rankings, seminars, friendships and fun.  Get ready for greatness!

So…. your recommended plan is: 1 (max 2) College Camps, ONE 1-Day CSK Regional Camp (possible 2) & the 2018 Underclassmen Invitational.

Classes of 2022 & 2023 Prospects

June: Private and Group Training with Chris Sailer Kicking Staff Members.  DO NOT attend College Camps. These are not beneficial for you at this time.  Focus on getting better to prepare for the future.

Late June, July & August: Attend the following camps…
June 28 – Los Angeles, CA 1-Day Camp
June 30 – Charlotte, NC 1-Day Camp
July 1 – Atlanta, GA 1-Day Camp
July 9 – Chicago, IL 1-Day Camp
July 22 – Dallas, TX 1-Day Camp
August 5 – Honolulu, HI 1-Day Camp

*Attend the camp in your region.

July 11-12 – TOP GUN in Rock Hill, SC. This is your chance to become an Adidas Freshman All-American (Class of 2022).  I will be selecting 2 K/P’s to participate in this incredible game at TOP GUN.  If you are in the Class of 2022 this is a can’t miss.  For all other youth players (2023 and younger): we feature a youth division at this camp which is unique to any other camp that we run.  This is an incredible opportunity to improve your skills and have fun with others your age.

2018 CA Spring Camp Recap – Seth Vernon Wins It!

The road to Vegas XXXII has officially begun. The 2018 Chris Sailer Kicking Spring Camp Tour started in Los Angeles, CA on March 4. Well over 100 specialists representing over 10 states were in attendance at Notre Dame High School. The talent was off the charts. This camp was a great indication of how fierce the competition to make TOP 12 in Las Vegas is going to be in May. Take a look at the results.

Overall Camp Champion
Seth Vernon (JC, CA) – Seth is an incredibly talented athlete. The 6’5”, 215 pound punter showed incredible potential from start to finish. He shows the ability to hit a big time D1 punt and became more and more consistent as the day went along. He won the camp by nailing 9 of out of 10 punts 40+ yards with 4.4 plus hang time in the finals round. He hit several balls 50+ yards with 5.0 plus hang time. Seth should be the #1 junior college punting prospect in the nation in the Class of 2019.

Field Goal Champions
Ronan Donnelly (2020, CA) – Ronan had an outstanding all around day. He was smooth and accurate on field goals and got great height on his ball off the ground. He also showed that he can hit a D1 level kickoff. His best ball measured 68 yards with 4.08 hang time. Ronan has proven that he is a top national kicking prospect in the Class of 2020. Big things are ahead for this young athlete.

Harry Hill (2019, HI) – Harry was one of the very best kickers in attendance once again. He recently won a major field goal competition in Las Vegas and followed that up with another one in CA. He hits a pure ball and is one of the most consistent performers in the nation. Harry is also strong on kickoffs. Look for Harry to dominate Vegas XXXII in May and should challenge for a TOP 12 spot.

Kickoff Champion
Andrew Rodriguez (JC, CA) – The long time Chris Sailer Kicking Kicker/Punter was solid as usual. He won the kickoff competition by hitting 4 kickoffs 65+ yards with 3.8 – 4.1 hang time. He was also one of the best field goal kickers and did a nice job punting the ball. He is a top junior college prospect that is eligible to transfer now and still has 4 years to play 3. He is going to make a fine addition to any college football program.
