Winning the Kickoff competition at the Top 12 camp in LA and being named a member of the Top 12.

Something unique we should know about you: 
I was the first kicker ever to be named Prospect on the Rise by Dave Campbell’s Texas high school football.  I was also chosen as Athlete of the month in October for Mansfield, TX.

I am an extremely hard worker academically and athletically and can make an immediate impact on special teams for any program

Chris Sailer Kicking Featured Instructor – Chris Nendick

This is our fourth week of a new series where we feature our amazing instructors. This will allow you learn more about these young men and why they have been chosen to represent CSK nationwide.

Week 4: Long time Chris Sailer Kicking Senior Instructor, Chris Nendick!

Chris Nendick & Drew Basil – The best in the Midwest!

Chris Nendick is a former place kicker. He has been on staff with Chris Sailer Kicking since 2005.

Nendick grew up in Naperville, IL where he attended Central High School. He was named first team All-DuPage Valley Conference, Honorable Mention Daily Herald DuPage All-Area, and special mention Chicago Sun-Times All-Area, plus postseason Area Top 100 Players as senior. Earned three letters in football. 

Nendick was the kicker for the Northern Illinois University Huskies. He finished his college career as the school’s second highest in field goals made and posted Mid-American Conference’s second-longest consecutive PAT streak with 108.

Nendick took his talents to the Arena Football League where he played for the Chicago Slaughter for three years.

Nendick currently lives in Chicago, IL with his wife, Christine. He is a Territory Manager at RespirTech in Chicago and works the Midwest camps with Chris Sailer giving valuable instruction. He also offers private and group lessons throughout the year for aspiring kickers and punters in the Chicagoland area.

Chris Sailer Kicking Featured Instructor – Drew Basil

This is our third week of a new series where we feature our amazing instructors. This will allow you learn more about these young men and why they have been chosen to represent CSK nationwide.

Week 3: Chris Sailer Kicking Senior Instructor, Drew Basil!

Drew Basil is a former placekicker. He has been on staff with Chris Sailer Kicking since 2009 and is currently an NFL free agent.

Basil was born in Chillicothe, OH and attended Chillicothe High School. 

Basil committed to Ohio State University and played four years for the Buckeyes. He graduated in with a degree in Communication in December 2013. He was ranked eighth all-time in field goals made at Ohio State, with 33; and third all time in field goal percentage, with 78.6%.

Upon graduating college, Basil went undrafted in the 2014 NFL draft.  He later signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent and also spent time with the Montreal Alouettes (CFL) in 2015, but ultimately did not make the final roster. On March 30, 2017, Basil signed with the Cleveland Gladiators (AFL) for the 2015 season.

Drew currently lives in Columbus, OH with his wife, Melissa. He is a realtor with the Sorrel & Company and tours the country with Chris Sailer giving valuable instruction. He also offers private and group lessons throughout the year.

Kicking the final extra point to secure our team with a win and an undefeated season of 8-0 and made school history of going undefeated since the school opened in 1901 and earned a playoff spot.

Best Kicking/Punting CSK Memory:
Vegas 34 and the overall experience with my other kicking friends and making new connections with other kickers across the country.

Short Term Goal:
Improve my technique and strength to train and compete at the highest level. I will continue to grow with each camp, work on my off-season workout program and my end goal is to be the best kicker and punter I can be. I’m willing to accept any scholarship to kick anywhere.

Long Term Goal: 
Play football as long as I can and work towards playing professionally

What is unique about me is that I have many talents, skills, and disabilities that I struggle with every day. 2019 CA Fall Camp Recap – Ben Falck Steps Up!

The 2019 Chris Sailer Kicking Fall Camp Tour continued this past weekend in Los Angeles, CA. This Fall CSK along with Rubio Long Snapping will make stops in NC, NJ, WA, Southern CA, TX, IL, AZ, GA and Northern CA on the road to Vegas XXXV (January 18-19, 2020). All in all 1300+ Specialists are expected to participate in the largest season circuit in the history of the company. At the end of it all, Chris Sailer Kicking will once again name the 1st 20 Kickers/Punters selected to participate in the prestigious TOP 12 Invitation Only Camp at Vegas XXXV. And for the first time ever, Chris Sailer will select 2 Kickers and 2 Punters to play in the All-American Bowl on NBC live on location at Vegas XXXV. Hang on as this is going to be an incredible ride.

Overall Camp Champion
Ben Falck (JC, CA) – Ben had by far his best performance at a Chris Sailer Kicking Camp. He is big, tall, strong and athletic. On this day he won the Kickoff Competition by averaging 70 yards, with 4.0 hang time. His field goals were also excellent. Ben hits a clean ball off the ground and easily has 55+ yard range. He is also a big time punting talent. Once his consistency improves in this area… watch out. His best ball measured 55 yards, with 5.07 hang time. Ben is one of the very best Junior College Combo prospects in America. OFFER NOW!!!

Punt Champion
Brenden Segovia (2021, CA) – The Top 12 Camp Invitee and 2019 Underclassmen Invitational Punt Champion was back at it again. The lefty has as much overall talent as any 2021 prospect in the nation. He won the Punt Competition by averaging 45+ yards, with 4.5+ hang time. He also hit several balls 50+ yards, with 5.0+ hang time. Brenden is also special on kickoffs. He routinely puts the ball in the end zone with 4.0+ hang time. His field goals are impressive. Brenden is a big time talent that won’t last long. OFFER NOW!!!

Jarrett Reeser (2021, CA) – The long time Chris Sailer Kicking had a dominant performance. Jarrett hits a big time D1 ball on field goal. He gets the ball up quick and is deadly accurate. He won the Field Goal Competition by hitting from 35, 40, 45, 50, 52 and 53 yards out. Jarrett is also strong on kickoffs. He is a great competitor that thrives under pressure. Look for Jarrett to compete with the best of the best at Vegas XXXV in January and challenge for a TOP 12 Spot.
