The road to Vegas 30 continued with a stop in AZ on April 9th. This was by far the most talent we have seen in Phoenix. Specialists from nearly 10 states were in attendance looking to come out and top gaining major national exposure. On this day Brayden Narveson proved that he was clearly the class of the competition. He was rewarded with a scholarship offer and subsequent commitment to Iowa State the following week. Exposure at its finest. Take a look at the results.
Overall Champion – Brayden Narveson (2018, AZ)
Brayden absolutely dominated the competitions on this day. He won both major field goal competitions and also came out on top in the punt competition. The TOP 12 Camp Invitee has all the tools to excel at the next level. He is smooth and accurate on field goals. His kickoffs are D1 ready. And he also does a nice job punting the football. Brayden is a big time pick up for Iowa State. There are big things ahead for this talented athlete.
Kickoff Champion – Gabriel Ballinas (JC, Mexico)
Gabriel is one of the most talented off the radar prospects out there. He is from Mexico, but is currently living in Arizona. He drives the ball 65-70 yards with around 4.0 second hang time. His field goals are coming along nicely. He also shows great ability as a punter. Gabriel is the type of athlete that can compete and any college level. Strong upside here.
