So You Didn’t Make “TOP 12”, What Now?

For the past month or so, you have been watching the “TOP 12” Kickers / Punters get chosen one by one. Each time a selection was made, one person was ecstatic while countless others felt the opposite emotions. When the final TOP 12er was chosen and a balloon was popped for many 2017, 2018 and even some 2019 Kickers / Punters. Now what?

Couple ways to look at it….

You can be upset with me for not selecting you. You can be upset with yourself for not performing when it counted. You can even find a way to blame others, but, it is ultimately on you. The only thing you can control is how hard and smart you work. Everyone in Vegas is competing for the same spots. Don’t let anybody outwork you and you will see different results.

You need to use this as motivation to make sure you perform better. This is all up to you. The choice is yours.

If you are a Kicker / Punter that strives to be the best, you want to be at that “TOP 12” camp this summer. Any single athlete that has been there (scholarship Kickers / Punters, All-Americans, NFL players) will tell you it is, by far, the best camp they have ever been to in their life. What you need to do is get back on the horse. Work smarter and harder. Your opportunity is waiting for you in Las Vegas. VEGAS XXVIII

At Vegas XXVIII, I choose the “EVENT ELITE”. The “EVENT ELITE” is the best of the best from Vegas in May. They join the “TOP 12” to form the “TOP 12” and “EVENT ELITE” Invite Only Camp on July 18-20, 2016. There is no set number for the “EVENT ELITE”. I could choose one K/P or I can choose 30. It all depends on the talent. I don’t choose just to choose. It would make me look ignorant in the end. If I say you belong at that camp, you are one of the best in the world. This is a true invite only camp. I do NOT just hand out invites to get people to come to it. That would give me no credibility. I choose the best because they are the best. They will represent the “TOP 12”, “ EVENT ELITE” and Chris Sailer Kicking the best in the future.

Are you one of them? Time to decide. Prove to me, and the rest of the world, that you belong.

Or don’t.

THE CHOICE IS YOURS…..

Recruiting Update – Jared Smolar is the TOP Combo Player Available!

The 2015 Chris Sailer Kicking Summer Tour is going strong.  Instruction, Competition, Scholarships, All-American selections have all been a part of it.  We have seen well over 1,000 athletes already this summer.  So much has happened and so much is yet to still happen.  One player making waves, is long time Chris Sailer Kicking combo player Jared Smolar, a 2016 prospect from Indiana.

Jared has trained with Chris Sailer Kicking since his freshman year of high school.  He has developed into a big time D1 scholarship athlete.  He is proving his worth by dominating all three kicking skills (field goals, kickoffs, and punts).  He shows 60 yard field goal range off the ground.  His kickoffs are perhaps the best in the nation, averaging 70-75  plus yards and 4.1+ hang time.  Punting is also a major strength.  Most importantly Jared is a tremendous athlete that competes with great confidence.  He recently was inches away from earning the 2016 U.S. Army All-American selection.

Jared will excel at the D1 college level.  He is far and away the #1 available combo prospect in the nation.  OFFER NOW!!! Stay tuned to find out where Jared Smolar will commit!

Vegas XXVI – All The Answers To Your Questions

1. How do I get invited Vegas XXVI? You don’t! It is not an invite only camp. It is a first come, first served Event. You register and you are in.  CLICK HERE

2. How old do you have to be to attend Vegas XXVI? We are now accepting the Class of 2019, all levels of High School, Junior College, and 4-Year College Transfers. Seniors (Class of 2015) should still be attending since we are still in the thick of recruiting. This is also incredible experience which will greatly benefit your chances of playing at the college level.

3. Is Vegas XXVI only for advanced Kickers / Punters? NO, it is open to all levels of Kickers / Punters. The early you go, the better you will be in the long run. Trust me, I have seen it countless times. Don’t be the guy who waits and then blows it because they were too nervous. Go early and get your butterflies knocked out sooner than later.  This camp provides benefits to players of all skill levels.

4. Will there be small group sessions this spring? Yes! There will be a 3:00 – 4:00 & 4:00 – 5:00 session. They are one hour blocks meant to knock off the rust, get some last minute fine-tuning in and get used to the fields, brand new football and myself.

5. Will there a Preparation Camp this year for Vegas XXVI? Yes, the preparation camp will be Sunday, May 3rd at Notre Dame H.S. in Sherman Oaks, CA. CLICK HERE

5. Is there a hotel you recommend for the Kickers / Punters and their parents? Yes, we have a group rate with the JW Marriott. It is about one mile from the fields and is superb. Call 877-622-3140

6. When should we book flights? Plan on arriving on Friday and either leaving after 7 pm on Sunday evening (camp will end at 5 pm) or Monday morning.

7. Is there a rental car company you recommend? Yes, for rental cars, follow these steps: Go to www.enterprise.com, Fill in the information as dates and times needed, In the optional area you will add L540231 and then click continue, The next screen will ask for a PIN which is RUB, Choose your car and enjoy the discount.

8. If I have spring ball on Friday, can I arrive on Saturday morning? Yes, but I MUST be notified as early as possible so I can put you in a later group on Saturday.

9. Why is Vegas XXVI important? It is a major one for the final recruitment of seniors (look at #2), beyond important for the underclassmen as their recruiting will just be going into high gear and your only chance to be selected to the “EVENT ELITE” (the “EVENT ELITE” will join The TOP 12 at the Invite Only “TOP 12″ and “EVENT ELITE” camp this summer in CA)

10. How many Kickers/Punters make “Event Elite”?  There is no set number.  Those that show true D1 Scholarship Level Ability will be selected.

11. Do you have to be in the Class of 2016 to make “Event Elite”? No, all classes will be evaluated in the selection process.  Many younger players and junior college players have been selected in years past.

12. What do I get for attending Vegas XXVI? The best Kicking / Punting instruction in the world, a Chris Sailer Kicking shirt, a profile page with Chris Sailer Kicking,  a chance to make the “EVENT ELITE” and the winner of the camp receives one year of free Chris Sailer Kicking camps (accommodations and transportation not included).

Chris Sailer Kicking “Event Elite” Punter Alex Kinney Commits to Colorado!

Chris Sailer Kicking “Event Elite” Punter / Kicker Alex Kinney has officially committed to the University of Colorado.  The #3 Punter in the nation & #22 Kicker in the nation made his decision last night.  The offer and commitment is well deserved!  The University of Colorado is getting one of very best, if not the best.

We met Alex in January at the 12th Annual National Kicking Event in Las Vegas.  He did a great job and landed in the Top 25 both as a punter and kicker.  He showed huge potential.  He then came back to Las Vegas in May for the 12th Annual National Spring Event where he absolutely exploded on the scene.  He kicked very well, but punting is where he really excelled.  He won the Class of 2015 Punt Competition and landed at #3 in the nation.  He also made “Event Elite” and was invited to the “TOP 12” and “Event Elite” camp in June where the best of the best gather and compete.

Alex had another great performance at the “TOP 12” and “Event Elite” Camp.  The 40 best specialists in the world gathered in Los Angeles to compete.  Kinney once again came out on top of the punting competition, beating the likes of Tommy Townsend (Tennessee commit), Blake Johnson (Duke, Oregon State & Colorado offers), & Corey Fatony (Missouri commit) to name a few.  Once the news got out,  it was no surprise that Colorado came in with the offer.

Alex is a special athlete.  Look for him to have an outstanding career at Colorado in the Pac-12.  A bright future awaits.
